 David Gilford is Vice President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the City’s primary vehicle for promoting economic growth, and a Director of the Center for Economic Transformation. David leads clean technology, energy and resiliency initiatives, focused on building programs that translate NYC's sustainability goals into growth opportunities.    

David has been a huge supporter of NYC ACRE through his views that technology and entrepreneurship can solve NYC’s toughest economic, energy and environmental challenges. He connects people and resources to stimulate innovation and negotiates public-private partnerships among universities, startups and technology companies. He actively supports business acceleration, mentorship and other programs to empower entrepreneurs, like our own tenants at ACRE.
